My favourite film

The question that what is my favourite film is in some way a tricky question for me, because I don’t have a unique favourite film. I could talk about some movies I love but I would be forgetting others, because I have a very bad memory for the films and books. So I’m going to speak about some films that I enjoyed very much.
I have a taste for good comedies, though not for silly comedies, like many American ones. For example I laugh a lot each time I watch Monty Python’s Life of Brian or the Spanish film Sunrise, which is no small thing (Amanece que no es poco). I think I prefer European comedies than American ones, because the sense of humour of the European ones is more closer to me, and American movies many times use unfairly the same topics.
Besides, I like classic American movies too, like Casablanca, for example. Every time I see it, I’m waiting for Rick to take the plane with her, but he doesn’t. Another classic I remember is the Alfred Hitchcock’s thriller Rear Window, one of the best mystery films I’ve watched.
One more film that impressed me was Stand by me, based on a Stephen King’s novella. Maybe it impressed me so much because I saw it when I was a teenager, like the main characters of the movie.
In conclusion, I like very different films of very different genres but I don’t have a favourite one.

Dear Ms Hardy,

According to our Tuesday 20 phone conversation, I'm writing you to arrange a meeting for reviewing the current state of the project and the coming steps.

Please find attached a report with all the information and some suggestions for your consideration.

I will be happy to go to your offices in Liège the day of the next week that most suits you.

I would appreciate an early response to this email.
